1. Introduction

Welcome to 24Library ("Company," "we," "our," or "us"). By accessing or using our library management software and services at 24library.com or app.24library.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). Please read these Terms carefully before using our services.

If you are using 24Library on behalf of an organization (such as a library, reading room, or educational institution), you represent and warrant that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

2. Description of Services

24Library provides cloud-based library management software that includes seat management, member registration, attendance tracking, payment management, automated reminders, analytics, and related features ("Services"). The Services are designed for study libraries, reading rooms, and educational institutions in India.

3. Account Registration & Eligibility

To use 24Library, you must register for an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information during registration
• Maintain and update your account information
• Keep your account credentials secure and confidential
• Be at least 18 years of age or have parental/guardian consent
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.

4. Subscription Plans & Billing

24Library offers multiple subscription plans as detailed on our pricing page. By subscribing, you agree to the following:

• Free Plan: A free plan is available with no time limit and no credit card required. Pro plan subscribers may request a demo before upgrading.
• Billing: Subscription fees are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis, depending on your chosen plan.
• Auto-renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
• Price Changes: We may change subscription prices with 30 days prior notice via email.
• Taxes: All prices are exclusive of applicable taxes (GST). Taxes will be added at checkout where applicable.

5. Refund Policy

We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee. If you are not satisfied with 24Library within the first 30 days of your paid subscription, contact us at developer@empowerxlabs.com for a full refund. Refunds are processed within 5–7 business days to the original payment method. After 30 days, refunds are issued on a case-by-case basis at our discretion.

6. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree not to use 24Library to:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Store or transmit any unlawful, harmful, or objectionable content
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of our systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of our Services
• Use the Services to compete with 24Library or to build a competing product
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of our software
• Resell or sublicense access to our Services without written authorization

7. Data & Privacy

Your use of 24Library is also governed by our Privacy Policy. As a library operator, you are responsible for ensuring you have appropriate consent from your members (students) to store their data in 24Library.

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data. However, you are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for any data you enter into our system.

8. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of 24Library — including but not limited to software code, text, graphics, logos, and user interface — are owned by 24Library and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from our platform without our prior written consent.

You retain ownership of all data you upload or enter into 24Library. By using our Services, you grant us a limited license to process your data solely to provide the Services to you.

9. Service Availability & Uptime

We strive to maintain 99.9% uptime. However, we do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the Services. Scheduled maintenance windows will be communicated in advance. We are not liable for any losses arising from service interruptions beyond our reasonable control.

10. Termination

Either party may terminate the subscription at any time. You may cancel your account through your dashboard or by contacting us at support@24library.com. Upon termination:

• Your access to the Services will cease at the end of the current billing period
• We will retain your data for 90 days after termination, after which it may be deleted
• You may request a data export within the 90-day period

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms without prior notice.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, 24Library shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising from your use of or inability to use our Services.

Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid by you to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

12. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of 24Library shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in India. We encourage resolving disputes amicably through our support team before initiating legal proceedings.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or in-app notification at least 15 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of 24Library after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
